It's for the UHFO giveaways that happen on the 1st of every month. You pick a # between 1 and 2000 and lots are drawn.
Many epochs ago some asshole thought it would be edgy to post a number in response to anything Mark LaRue said. It was pretty lame then, but whatever. Fast forward to today, there's always some dumb fucker or 3 that thinks he's being cute and original by engaging in this practice.
