5-6 years ago and the cashier wanted to know if I wanted the 'Senior Citizen Discount', I was 55, she didn't know my age, and that is the age for their policy, just thought it was funny. Nice lady, in her 60's, I retired at 51, wear the same old clothes and M-65 field jacket in the Winter, comfortable AND Clean, (not Rich but doing well) she must have thought that I was poor and hoarded cigarette $ off coupons for me. Guess it's my Mohawk, long hair down my back and scruffy beard? She did offer me yard work and 'anything thing else I need that a man could do for me'. Thanks, but no thanks Ma'am. |
