I dunno. I just Google imaged it. If it is, I'm guessing the bright red dot on the rear is the on/off... ETA: heres where I stole it from: www.borelliconsulting.com/evals/guns/rem870.htm |
i dont think i would care for a laser sight. |
The SPAS was never all that except for looks...Had one and sold it...heavy,akward...and the Benelli does it all in a simpler package...just doent look as badass as the SPAS though...I loved the look...but the function was lacking in a real world enviroment |
I can't stand the way an 870 looks with an M4 stock.
I was in a similar predicament recently and after reading many stories similar to the one you just told, I got the Benelli M1 Super 90. I'm sure I made the right choice (and saved a bunch of money too). |
+1 I wish I had kept mine for the "coolness" factor alone (sold it before the AWB and the heinous price increases), but I found it completely impractical for real-world use. YMMV. As much as I like my Saigas (now my favorite semi-auto shotguns), I still much prefer one of my 870s for anything serious. Again, YMMV. |

I'd keep that old S&W just the way it is, and get an 870 or 500 to go tactical with. There are a million around, cheap. No need to mess with a classic. I've got an 870 that looks very similar to the one above, with the Surefire forend . I can't remember where I got the stock, but it looks just like above. I keep 5 extra rounds in a stock sleeve, instead of the receiver mount-just the way I like it,I guess. I've also got a High Standard K120 Riot Gun (says this right on the gun-can you imagine someone stamping that on a shotgun now? ) I like the beautiful black walnut stock, and the blued steel.Built the way a gun should be. I wouldn't dream of changing this one. |
