Just bought it tonight. Came with (4) 15-rd mags - (3) factory and (1) Meg-gar.

Good gun?

If we say no, then what are you going to do?

How much was it?

looks like a S&W auto. What more can I say? I have no personal experience with that model, but it looks nice.

It is a pretty good gun and the price was good so I say you did good.

I absolutely love my 915.  I put night sights on it.  I gave it to my Sister in Law who uses it for CCW.

An X-GF had one. very comfortable to shoot, easy to break down. Fires consistantly with normal cleaning.

My 457 is built on basically the same frame and I love it.

I believe it was the "scary looking weapons ban of 1994"

e.g. Mag capacity.

Minus points for not being a .45

Trust me, I would love a .45, but I can't decide which one I want.

My requirements:

10 rd+ capacity
Accurate
Reliable
Fits my hand
Good trigger

I was just kidding, of course.  But if you're looking for a nice fit .45 that isn't a 1911, you may wish to look at the Glock 21SF.  If you're not into Glocks, take a gander at the XD45.  Both of those grips are comfortable and ergonomic.

Nice. I have a 411, the .40 cal version. Bought it new about 15 years ago. Good gun.

Good gun.  Heavy as a boat anchor, but like most S&W auto's very underated.

Not a 10+ round capacity though.

To get 10+ rounds in an accurate and reliable .45 you can only get a Glock or an HK.

Heavy as compared to what? It has an alloy frame so it's lighter than steel.

Here's my 411. Only mods are Novak sights and a trigger job.

Did I say this fun feels great in the hand.

I'm about to take it out to the range today.

My first gun was a 4006.  Great gun but heavy as hell.  I tend to shoot much better with my other handguns so it sits in the safe most of the time
