Does anybody know of any resonable priced 9mm carbine guns? I'm only looking to spend up too 700 dollars. Was trying for a Special Weapons Omega but the guy I'm trying to get hold it for me hasn't been responding to me. |
| Anything in 9MM caliber will fire 9MM cartridges. Do you want a carbine or pistol? Many pistols cost about what you want to spend, but many recommend against +P ammo. I would avoid anything made by Special Weapons like the plague. At least research them before you buy. Others can tell you more. |

| 9MM carbine (AR-type?) are out there, but tend to cost a little more than $700. The biggest problem is pre-ban mags are quite expensive. Check the various firearms-related auctions and, of curse, our Equipment Exchange here on the Board. If you look long enough, and aren't in a hurry, you will find one. |

On second thought! If your looking for a pistol you can get great deals on well cared for Sigs and Berrettas for about $425 if you want a carbine and aren't particular about whether it's an ar or not, RUGER PC9's are reliable accurate and mount a scope or red dot site, and the mags are available as they are the same ones used by rugers semi auto pistols in the same caliber! Neat little gun i have fired and would like to get one myself,with +p they achieve .357 magnum velocities! |

If you are not into the military look, the Marlin camp carbine may be worth a look see. It takes S&W mags, looks PC and can be found in silver (like stainless, but not). With the money left over, any mags and ammo purchased will still keep you under your limit. |

I have a few COLT POST BAN Match Target rifles(no flash even thought there is not a flash supressor) in 9mm. They are sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!! Never JAM!! Ilikelegs can bump fire it perfectly! I have a few Colt mags and a few UZI mags. The Colt mags will hold the bolt back. The Agentina mags that the Rock River 9mm guns use work fine. Slightly modified UZI mags work too (need rectangluar hole for mag release). I have seen the same 2 COLT mags at gun shows within the last 2 years. A year ago the 32 round mag was $99 and the same vendor had the same 2 mags this week and they were marked up to $139 each. |

Customer serivie has been "hammered" many times too. Now, back to your question: 9mm Carbines. What did you have in mind? Personally, I would recommend a Keltec. I've seen them for under $350.00. Why, well, if you have a 9mm pistol, choose the Keltec that uses it's mags. That way you don't have to worry. Plus, the Keltec can fold and be stored in compact bags. I have an older Sub 40 that uses Glock mags, love mine. |
