At least 43 people and companies targeted by Supreme Court

Brazilian authorities blocked bank accounts Thursday of people and companies allegedly driving "anti-democratic acts" following Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's victory in a presidential runoff.

Federal Supreme Court (STF) judge Alexandre de Moraes ordered the move targeting at least 43 people and companies related to recent demonstrations.

"It is necessary, appropriate and urgent to block the bank accounts of those investigated, given the possibility of using resources to finance illicit and undemocratic acts, in order to stop the injury or threat to law," said De Moraes.

He said there have been "repeated abuse of the right to assemble."

Authorities are targeting those who they said are driving undemocratic acts -- ranging from illegal roadblocks and anti-democratic demonstrations amid calls by demonstrators for military intervention.

De Moraes said "several antidemocratic acts" began after dissatisfied truck drivers "began to block traffic on several highways of the country."

Many supporters of outgoing President Jair Bolsonaro have failed to recognize Lula's victory in the tight runoff late last month.

Bolsonaro lost to Lula, who garnered 50.9% of the vote compared to Bolsonaro's 49.1%, according to Brazil's Superior Electoral Court.

Supporters of the outgoing president took part in large-scale demonstrations across Brazil on Tuesday with many heading to military barracks.

Bolsonaro loyalists have been pushing for the army to intervene against the STF and have continued to claim that the election in was stolen.

There has been no indication of any election irregularity, while overseas, the results were quickly recognized by various leaders.

A report by Brazil's Defense Ministry last week found no electoral irregularities in a detailed document provided to electoral authorities.

Lula is set to be sworn in for a third term Jan. 1.

REPORT: Virginia Election Machines Recorded More Votes than there were Ballots

Two precincts in Virginia’s 7th and 10th Congressional Districts, have reportedly recorded more votes than there were voters inputting ballots, according to a non-profit watchdog group.

The report raises worries of voter fraud, or at least a failure of the machinery of the election in those counties.

In Prince William County, one of Virginia’s most important electoral counties, at least two precincts had more ballots reported on the machine scanners’ tallies of ballots than were tabulated by election officers, according to a report by Electoral Process Education Corporation (EPEC), a nonprofit that performs election data analysis.

A board of directors member of EPEC told Just the News on Monday that precincts P-612 and P-104 were the ones affected by the discrepant vote totals. P-612 is in Virginia’s 7th Congressional District, and P-104 is in the 10th.

Democratic Rep. Abigail Spanberger won the 7th CD against GOP nominee Yesli Vega, and Democratic Rep. Jennifer Wexton won reelection in the 10th CD against Republican candidate Hung Cao.

In P-612, the ballot scanner reported 531 ballots scanned, but only 504 ballots were actually collected in the machine. Election officers realized the discrepancy when comparing the check-ins on the poll books to the number of ballots the scanner had reported.

Just the News has more, of course, but just how many other major failures have occurred during our elections?

It is a question Democrats don’t want answered. Despite the proof otherwise.

Will Russia Attack Germany for Aiding Ukraine with Weapons Maintenance and Training?

Germany has just created a maintenance hub within the nation of Slovakia to perform work on weapons coming out of the Ukrainian War. These weapons are predominantly going to be howitzers and anti-aircraft systems that have been supplied to Ukraine via the West.

According to German Defense Minister, Christine Lambrecht, a member of the Social Democratic Party, “We have reached [an] agreement, and work can start immediately so that all the equipment which has been supplied can be repaired after coming out of battle.”

She also added that Germany is planning to train 5000 Ukrainian soldiers within Germany’s borders by the end of June as part of a European Union training exercise.

Back in March 2022, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned the world that anybody transporting weapons to Ukraine would be viewed as a legitimate military target. He stated, “We clearly said that any cargo moving into the Ukrainian territory which we would believe is carrying weapons would be fair game.”

FDA clears lab-grown meat for human consumption

For the first time, the Food and Drug Administration has cleared lab-grown meat, created from cultured animal cells, for human consumption, the agency announced on Wednesday.

The FDA green light applies only to chicken products made by Upside Foods, a California-based company founded in 2015, though in its announcement the FDA said it is ready to work with other firms that are developing cultured animal cell food.

The agency said that it had evaluated information submitted by Upside Foods as part of a pre-market consultation, and that it had “no further questions at this time about the firm’s safety conclusion.”

The company can begin selling its product after inspection and label approval by the Department of Agriculture. Upside makes cell-cultivated meat using biopsies from living animals as well as “recently slaughtered animals who were already a part of the food system.” It expects these cells to be capable of indefinitely self-renewing, with the goal of eventually phasing out all animal components.

An Upside spokesperson said in an emailed statement to Yahoo News that the company is “thrilled” by the FDA’s “historic announcement.”

“Cultivated meat has never been closer to the U.S. market than it is today,” the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson added that in addition to eliminating “the need to raise and slaughter billions of animals,” cultivated meat is projected to use substantially less water and land than farmed meat, and producing meat in a controlled environment may reduce the risk of harmful bacterial contamination.

Meat and dairy alone are responsible for 60% of agriculture’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to the United Nations. But while proponents of cultivated meat point to its environmental benefits by cutting greenhouse gas emissions, some experts are still debating whether large-scale cultured meat industries may exacerbate climate change by contributing to carbon pollution.

G20 leaders agree to work toward mandatory digital health passports for all human beings: This will kickstart one-world beast system experimented with during Covid

We reported earlier this week on the Indonesian health minister’s call for all nations to adopt a globally recognized digital health passport in order to track, monitor and restrict people’s freedom of movement during the “next pandemic” and now we have official confirmation that this was not just a single health minister’s opinion — it’s part of official G20 policy.

The G20 represents leaders from the world’s 20 largest economies, minus Russia which has been isolated and demonized even though its partner, China, is still hailed as a wonderful model of success in the way it so efficiently keeps its people in check.

I am sure some readers heard this Indonesian health minister and thought, no big deal, he is after all just the Indonesian health minister, right? He could have been speaking out of school, a wild shoot among otherwise reasonable “leaders” meeting in Bali.

I hate to break it to those readers, but they were wrong to assume any such thing.

When the G20 Summit ended, its formal communique included a strongly worded declaration on digital health passports. The Indonesian official was not speaking out of school or in any way going against what the most power nations of the world want to see take place in 2023.

The official G20 leaders’ declaration calls for digital COVID-19 certificates.

The section of the final communique, which is republished and available on the White House website, which deals with vaccines and the Covid-19 pandemic states, “We recognize that the extensive COVID-19 immunization is a global public good and we will advance our effort to ensure timely, equitable and universal access to safe, affordable, quality and effective vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics (VTDs).”

The communique goes on to describe the need for greater multilateral collaboration among nations, stating, “We remain committed to embedding a multisectoral One Health approach and enhancing global surveillance, including genomic surveillance, in order to detect pathogens and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) that may threaten human health.”

This is global governance in action and they’re no longer hiding it. National sovereignty is treated like an after thought, a small encumbrance that is easily sidestepped in the midst of a “crisis” or emergency type situation. And we all know how easy it is to create a crisis when you own the entire global corporate media.

They are coming right out and telling us now what the goal is — a one-world system that will surveil every human being, including their genomic makeup, for compliance with their “response” to whatever the scary crisis of the moment might be — a pandemic, climate change, war, famine, whatever they decide to use as fear porn. We already know what their “response” consists of — mRNA vaccines for all, whether you want them or not.

Even if these vaccines were entirely safe and effective, which we know they’re not, I still would never submit to a single poke.

Why? Because the virus was the tool to get folks to take the vaccines and the vaccines are the tool to get them to take the digital health passport, a form of global ID that will be used to restrict basic human rights, the freedom of movement, freedom of assembly, freedom of speech, freedom of religion. There is no one tool ever to appear on the earth that has the potential to be used in such a sweeping way to eradicate freedom on not just a national or regional basis but a global basis.

They want you outfitted with their tool of control, the digital health passport or SMART Health Card, on your phone, so they can track you and restrict your movement whenever they feel the need for another lockdown or partial lockdown.

Global central bankers are just as eager to get their new digital currencies in place as health officials are eager for everyone to get a digital health passport on their phone.

This is no coincidence. These two components, the global digital money and the global digital ID, will work technologically hand in glove to enslave the human population.

Your health and your money are the two avenues through which the beast system is being advanced.

Any Christian who can’t see that this is indeed the beast system taking over is spiritually blind. And once this system evolves to a certain point it could quickly be converted to the actual mark of the beast, where no one will be allowed to buy or sell without having received the world’s tag of acceptance.

Canada to introduce Social Credit System next year with Carbon Counter on Visa Card Purchases

Vancity has become the first Canadian financial institution to offer a credit card that calculates a user’s carbon footprint. It is partnering with climate-focused German fintech Ecolytiq to offer the carbon calculator.

Starting next year, Vancity Visa cardholders will be able to track their estimated carbon emissions from their credit card purchases. The move is an effort by the credit union to honour its commitment to climate action.

Mastercard last year announced a carbon calculator tool that banks could roll out to customers, but, according to a report from City News Everywhere last month, did not immediately respond to clarify whether any Canadian banks currently offer its calculator tool.

The Mastercard option was rolled out in collaboration with Doconomy, a Swedish fintech company that in 2019 launched a credit card with a carbon footprint limit.

The Carbon Counter will allow Vancity cardholders to compare their monthly carbon footprint to the national average. It will also provide advice on how to reduce the carbon footprint.

“We know many Vancity members are looking for ways to reduce the impact they have on the environment, particularly when it comes to the emissions that cause climate change,” said Jonathan Fowlie, Vancity’s Chief External Relations Officer.

“As a member-owned financial cooperative, we believe it is our job to do everything we can to help, especially when it comes to the decisions people make with their money. This tool will equip Vancity Visa credit cardholders with valuable information on their purchases and enable them to connect their daily spending decisions to the change they want to see in the world.”

The Carbon Counter was developed in collaboration with Ecolytiq, a climate engagement tech company based in Europe.

Ecolytiq’s co-founder Ulrich Pietsch said: “We are breaking new ground here. We developed a White Label solution to offer financial institutions all over the world an agile and effective way to offer their customers tools to forge a better tomorrow. I said a long time ago that Covid-19 and the lockdowns were a proof of concept. It was war-gamed a few years before it actually happened. We're going to see it all again within the next few years, maybe sooner. Government leftists got their first taste of socialist power. And they liked it.

They are going to continue to grow and consolidate their power and control. By the time everyone starts waking up to what's going on, it will be too late. We're going to see bigger and more intense pushes to disarm the public. Once that happens, the democrats will rip up the Constitution on CNN Live and declare themselves the absolute law of the land.

Harari: The 2024 election may be the last democratic election in US history

A few days ago, during a televised discussion about “election deniers” and how many of them are running in the midterm elections, Yuval Noah Harari, Israeli professor and author of the book “Sapiens: A Brief History of Man” , shuddered and said in a serious tone that American democracy is now so problematic that “the next presidential election could be the last democratic election in the history of the United States.”

“It’s not very likely, but it could happen,” he commented.

And yet, until recently we couldn’t even imagine that someone went on American television and declared that the electoral system of the United States might be doomed.

Harari does not usually make inflammatory statements. He is an educated and thoughtful historian. However, not only did he mention this possibility, but the amazing thing about the case is that what he said was not shocking at all.

As the Financial Times reports, predicting the death of American democracy has become almost normal.

The main reason for this, of course, is that former US President Donald Trump continues to lie about the 2020 election. And in doing so, he refuses to accept the very foundation of a functioning democracy: the peaceful transfer of power .

If he was the only one spouting conspiracy theories, then they wouldn’t affect so many people. But what he says has been adopted by other Republicans, appearing over and over again on social networks to the point of disgust and parroted by his supporters at campaign rallies. Some election deniers, in local government, are even changing laws in order to ensure more control over future polls.

The violent invasion of the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 was in many ways the natural consequence of Trump’s anti-democratic rhetoric. The insurgents entered the building armed and tried to block the ratification of Joe Biden’s victory. Fortunately, the attempts to overthrow the democracy failed.

But many currently believe that Trump will definitely take the Republican nomination next time. If that happens, he could win the 2024 election.

As the FT points out, members of Trump’s inner circle admit that if they return to power, they will not only seek to retaliate against the officials investigating the events of January 6, but also plan to use a little-known legal clause, the so-called “Schedule F”. , in order to expel their opponents from the public administration. That last one matters a lot as some bureaucrats try to put the brakes on the worst excesses of the Trump administration.

So what may be coming in 2024, if not sooner, is a politics of revenge.

All this explains why Democrats fear a death of democracy. But the other thing that is equally impressive is that Republicans are sounding the alarm. A recent Quinnipiac University poll shows that 69% of Republicans believe democracy is under threat – exactly the same percentage as Democrats. But Republicans don’t blame Trump for this: either they agree with Trump’s lie that the outcome of the 2020 election is rigged, or they see the Democrats’ “radical extremism” as undermining American values.

In the meantime voters are losing faith in the idea that there can be a dialogue between different points of view. As misinformation spreads, some individuals become radicalized. The horrific attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband is fueling fears of more violence. A recent Reuters/Ipsos survey reveals that 40% of voters are now worried about becoming a victim of intimidation during elections.

Another issue may be that gradually political differences are defined less and less by ideas and more and more by personal alliances and hatreds. A Pew poll in August found that 72% of Republicans view Democrats as immoral and dishonest, up from 47% in 2016. Nearly as many Democrats view Republicans in this same light, with the percentage showing a similarly dramatic increase in recent years six years. This is tribalism, the FT points out.

Does all this mean that Harari’s prediction of the possible collapse of democracy is correct? “Personally, I still have a hard time believing it,” the columnist emphasizes. After all, polarization and political violence have been features of American democracy since the beginning, with notable periods of significant progress. There is perhaps hope that we are now moving towards such a time.

But that may be a long time coming: another telling recent survey found that while 71% of Americans now believe democracy is under threat, just 7% see fixing this problem as a national priority.

In other words, the crisis may need to deepen before there is a reaction. That is why, of course, it is necessary on the one hand for people like Harari to shout and on the other hand for everyone else to remember to be shocked.

Just don’t allow yourself to be disarmed. That’s why we have the 2nd Amendment. Seriously. As a free man you eventually have to stand for something. It might as well be freedom. If not, what?

I'm not implying they won't do it, just showing they have no legal authority.

Biden will likely make an announcement on a Friday evening, informing the public that the faith and credit of the United States may not be questioned (and other platitudes), and that the dollar will be converted at 12 to 1 to a federal reserve digital currency. We will be told all cash must be converted by end of week or it will become worthless.

The government forced citizens and corporations to hand over all their gold coins and bullion in exchange for paper money at vastly undervalued rates in 1933. This was after the president illegally closed banks for a number of days to prevent citizens from withdrawing their money. Americans were told they must accept as money whatever the government told them to accept, and at whatever rate they were told to accept it. Requiring gold as payment was outlawed.  They didn't have legal authority for any of that, and the Supreme Court let most of the gov's actions stand.

Somewhere, there's a smart, evil and manipulative sob sitting on a beach, watching the money roll into his account, as idiots around the world send him cash in exchange for "carbon credits".  None of the participants in these programs are even asking "where is my money going?  Who at your company created these credits in order to make them available for exchange or purchase, and how?"
