Stuck with the 111 today. Worked at the project house hanging a new light, removing a door and hanging it correctly and finishing the trim around said door.
Also had to reinstall the flower bed sprinklers for the wife when I got home. Nap time! Attached File |

View Quote Overall service is substandard in comparison to other companies. Prepare to be let down. I’ve used their “service” in the past. Was not impressed. If you need a screw replaced or a new clip, call them and have it sent in the mail, if they agree to it. They sharpen by hand on the sharpmaker, so if you want a new edge you might be dissatisfied with the result. If you break a blade you’re SOL. And worse, if you mess up a sprint you’re also SOL. Luckily, due to their extreme generosity, they might keep the knife and offer you a smidgen of store credit for a run of the mill knife at MSRP. If I could give them stars for my review, it’s a singular star. Nothing more. Nothing less. |

That's kinda funny since most of your knives are Spyderco.
I was actually coming to comment I was surprised to see the step up to a SAK in your prior post. |

View Quote Yeah. You can’t put glaze on a cow turd and call it an apple fritter. I like my Spyderco knives and it’s taken a lot to get them to where I’m happy with the product. Unfortunately their service/warranty is total garbage. I haven’t had a little SAK in many years. I decided to go with the rambler model because it has the ever useful bottle opener built into the Phillips drive. There’s a bunch of hideous neon green para cord in my garage that I’m considering to make an attempt at a lanyard so I don’t lose this SAK like all the others… |
|
|
If you just start littering them around your house, you don't lose them, you find them when you need them. Little pockets of joy.
