Hattin is the biggest Emerson folder I've ever handled.
I'm sure the folding steak knife is bigger, but the Hattin is a good sized knife that feels great in the hand.

Conversation probably went "can I give him this"; "sure, he already cut himself on the bandsaw, should have it down now". I took it to my room and opened all of the blades at once admiring it, and cut myself in the process of trying to close them. Instead of taking it away, they said "well, you shouldn't open all the blades at once". I suppose they knew all too well I wouldn't have paid any attention to that advice at the point 20 min. prior when they handed it to me. Fixed blade might have been the way to go though.

Also, my older brother was an asshole that never had my back and liked to mess with me. One time I was whittling something on the porch and he decided to get too close and got cut. Completely unintentional and really his fault, but I wasn't unhappy with the result. Lost privileges for a few days over that though.
