Those are cool!  I was wondering what the horse hoof shaped chunk in the resin was. Lol

Could I talk you into posting a pic of the kydex pocket sheath?

I've had a hard time wrapping my brain around how I'd make one.

Had to run to the apartment house yesterday to fix the garage door again! No more! Ordering a new door and opener next week. Original owner bought cheap and installed poorly! We plan on moving in here once we find a winter place and sell our house so it is worth doing right.
Last day with the Quantum. Put the Christmas fob on it for the day.

Said goodbye to a friend of mine today at 7am. Been fighting pancreatic cancer for over a year. They called him a miracle and we thought he had it beat. It came back with vengeance.  20plus year cop and soon to be new grandad to 2 grand babies. They just broke the news about the one, so not even sure he knew. 2 adult kids, but the one I know the best is his 4yr old who is friends with my granddaughter.  I cry for her. Mortality check as he died the same age as me at 50. Sorry to pour this out on Christmas eve. Spend time with your families and appreciate it. His last wish was that the night that he dies that everyone take a shot of Fireball. Here's my tribute. He was my camping, cigar smoking buddy. Sorry, no knives in the pic. I want to get the sheath proud of the pocket so you don't cut or stab yourself or cut your pants.  I think kydex would be too bulky to do it though.

He was a hard core conservative and the FJB was his thing, so...https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/48347/20221224_214758_jpg-2647919.JPG

Fuuuuuuuuck

If I had the ability to get fireball right now I would, but I'll just have to say a prayer for your buddy and all the family affected. That sucks hardcore. And a good reminder to keep what really matters front of mind. Tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us.

FIL spent 30+ years on the force. Had a kidney transplant about 30 years ago. Tainted blood transfusion and wound up with Hep. Was able to keep him running until 8 or 9 years ago and had to retire. In and out of Mayo's since the transplant and had another from his sister. Thanksgiving day of 2019 he wound up being Life Flighted back up to Mayo's and was just barely able to keep him alive til Christmas and he passed just a few days later. Part of his life insurance was to be donated to them and they named a room after him.

Unbeatable

It's pretty awesome. Full of poems and short stories about farts. Haven't opened the game to see how it was played. The guy I got it from said it was some gag gifts from work and he handed me a stack of scratchers to make it worth it.

My dad had stage 4 lymphoma 18 years ago. The Dr said if we don't kill this, it will kill you, period. Mayo gave him an experimental stem cell treatment.

He gave me a bunch of deer sticks from his most recent kill yesterday. If something serious happens, Mayo is THE PLACE TO GO. 100%.

The last few years he was alive, they had given him some experimental drug that was looking like it was the path to killing Hep and did very well for him. His body had just been through too much and couldn't keep it together anymore. Even if they got him better, it was just prolonging the inevitable and would never really live outside of a hospital. I was able to go up with our dog (his grandpup, they were inseperable) and they let me bring him in to hang out for a couple days.

Our friend down in Texas who is in her thirties and been fighting skin cancer for 4 years was just told it is end of the road, maybe a couple months left.

Then we hear from another friend that she just had a heart attack. She is 52 and healthy.

Spend time with people and keep them close.

Except gingers.
