Yes I did. You didn't understand my post. I had the truck 6 months before I retired so that's where all the miles came from. Now I'm down to around 4000 a year. Maybe less if I stop driving 100 miles to go visit the old workplace.

That seemed clear enough to me.

But, half of 60,000 is 30,000, and 1.5 x 4,000 is 6,000, so we should be looking at 36,000 for the two year total

It was impossible to find.

Then my path took me briefly into Illinois past my favorite licker store there. Last year they had BT select. This year, they were open, but no special run (well, they had some Maker's Mark shit they picked themselves, but we all know how I feel about Beam products). So I was heading towards the checkout with the hard to find Duke, and there it was, in their locked cabinet. They also had a bottle of Early Times BiB in the cabinet which made me chuckle because it was a $30 bottle sitting next to the $450 bottle of N. But I stayed focused on the Larceny.

Other than that, no idea. The two girls working both shook their heads and said they didn't know either other than that it is French and really hard to find.

Your math is sound but after more than 20 years working for state govt. I had a boat load of comp and sick time to eat up. And then Covid hit!
That cut my driving down significantly. Plus I had my new retirement truck and didn't want to load up the miles anymore then required. It was good to be king(boss)!

That was quick! Christmas has been picked up and stored away till next year.
Lot's of new wood working items ordered with all my gifted money. I will be keeping UPS and USPS busy for the next few weeks.
Plus the Shiro tool should be in Thursday. Still waiting to hear on the Sigma.
Old pic.

Nice. We kind of thought of Covid as practice retirement, as far as how much time we were together at home, even though both of us had to work a lot harder to do our jobs from home at least initially.
