Congrats on the bluebird baby - that is awesome. Here's a horrible pic through the bedroom window by my wife (I wasn't home) from early spring - most I've seen together.

Kinda.

I like Sapphire in mixed drinks because it's a little more balanced and levels out in G&Ts a little better and isn't as floral as others. Has a good balance of citrus and juniper without going overboard on either.

I can’t comment on US sourced bagged milk, but in canuckistan the milk is sold in a large plastic bag with 2, maybe 3 individual liter bags held inside that larger outer bag. It’s actually quite useful because you get a smaller serving being opened at a time. If my kids didn’t drink milk we’d go through a gallon every 2 months. But with the little bagged milk you have little prepackaged serving sizes that are useful. 25 year old 80085 would use up one bag a month and give the other(s) to appreciative friends or neighbors.

ETA for those who don’t know, you buy a special size short oval pitcher pitcher and drop the bag inside then snip the corner of the plastic to pour. Super convenient and easy without dealing with jug rubbish.

German pancake per google (what my ex gf made):

Ingredients
5 tablespoons unsalted butter
6 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
½ teaspoon salt

And just to throw another twist on food name issues, I hate eggs but I’d eat them just to have a Spanish tortilla.

Which has nothing at all in common with a flour or corn tortilla from the Americas.
