Not a knife but I took a steel dart to the pinky toe. The scoring segments had steel dividers and I was playing barefoot. My mom said I needed to have shoes on. Shortly after that the dart hit the steel divider and bounced back onto my toe.

Hey WIC, how's that "ivory" micarta stand up to dirty hands? Micarta likes to soak things up so I don't know if I could stomach carrying it to work.

I haven't used ivory but I've used yellow and white and they both clean up pretty well with soap and water.

Fair point. Though, I'd imagine he's gotten some soot on his hands from his "grilling" attempts.

I think DLT calls it a micarta for lack of a better term, but as I understand it, it is a composite, more like Corian.

I have had the mnandi for some time, but only pull it out for office and events, so not getting too dirty doing that. Time will tell with the sebenza.

Reading online, it seems like it picks up dirt easily. But as noted above, little washing should spruce it up.

I found a dead one a couple years ago in the cold air return underneath my HVAC in my office basement. It was getting smelly in there so I pulled the filter out to investigate and there it was, just lying on the concrete slab, stinking like all get out. Don't know where the fucker slipped in, but hasn't happened since, so....

At one of our houses as a kid, we had this small shed next to the house. One day I go out and find thousands of baby garters just streaming out from under it. They were so thick it was like the ground itself was moving.

We ended up using 3 rolls with no leftover. My deck is over 30 years old and still seems to be just fine on the joist so I don't know why it's required now.
I wonder if it's because the new pressure treated lumber doesn't have the same chemicals as they made the company's change the formula?
