It flushes the chips down through some filters so at least the coolant gets filtered before recycling back to the top of the mill table but the wet dust gets slung everywhere in the enclosure. I’m going to do a bit more research on working with composites in a CNC mill before I do too many more. I’m concerned about the abrasive dust making its way down into the important parts of the mill. |
