Cost me 30 bucks with included shipping for my pivot screw.

I heated up a 10 penny nail head with a torch and put the pivot on that. Didn't want to goof up the scales. Then I squeezed the blade closed as tight as I could and it came out. Wasn't the Sigma though as the previous owner loosened it when he striped out the head.

We've already had a few nights in the 40's. Garden was all brown and not producing. Only carrots and beets left now.

Wish my guy did that, this one's stuck.

I'll give that a try next. Was gonna try soldering iron, but seems like heat transfer would take forever.

Just buy a new knife and throw that one out.

The one I posted above this was $35 and it’s pretty sweet.

Yeah, but that pic also has a cup of early morning piss and what appears to be honey gold potatoes dipped in chocolate and sprinkles, so your version of sweet may not match mine.

Soldering iron actually works pretty well on small stuck screws in my experience especially when they are stuck due to thread locking compound. Just put your finger on the other end to see of the pivot screw to keep tabs on how fast it's heating up.

Attachment Attached File

I found a 3" t-10 torx bit with a 1/4 inch drive and tossed it in the soldering iron backwards. Looks to be half a tube of blue locker dumped in it.

The beer is my wife's pumpkin beer, I had Weihenstephen Heffe. The donuts belonged to my eldest, her younger sister isn't allowed to have treats for two weeks, so the eldest was trying to rub it in.

The knife fires hard in both directions and consistently. They are great bang for buck.

Blockhouse out of Pittsburgh is hands down the best pumpkin  beer we have had so far if you can find that anywhere.
