Last night at dinner my son ordered a pork chop.

Little did I know it's 20oz.

Figured I'd help him out with leftovers

Please tell me the broccoli was part of the chop plate and not in your pasta.

95Ts are so popular that they are relatively easy to find, even Three Bears.  Just a matter of what steel and as we know, I'm not overly concerned about steels although I'd like to try Elmax some time.

Since you are such a discerning well to do gentleman, I would be happy to sell you my unused perfect example of the F95R "T" at an above market exorbitant rate. Offer only valid for you.

Honestly though, and I can't speak for all of them, but my example is so perfect it is boring.  The action is perfect, fit and finish is perfect, the detail is perfect, the design is perfect, centering is perfect, the clip is perfect, the grind is perfect, the weight is perfect and the size is perfect.  They maximized the blade to handle ratio. Personally I like the size of the 111 and the liner lock a bit more, but I can see why the F95 is the best selling model for Shiro.  Mine is so perfect I am afraid to use it. I wouldn't think cutting edge length would be an issue for you. You could do worse than picking one up.

But you probably should add that to the list of reasons to move out of your oppressive state.

ETA: Those Russians are crazy... But you probably know that.

You are so uncultured. Or a high school girl.

Jaeger is a digestive liqueur.

The proper way to drink it:

1. Straight from the bottle
2. Straight out of the freezer
3. 3 gulps at a go
4. By frat boys trying to get laid or get into a fight, (physical contact is physical contact), or by sorority girl desiring physical contact themselves.

Not sure. It was just in his left overs he made a good dent in it but it was huge. To be honest I think the pasta was from his mom's plate. I ended up giving a few slices to the dog since it was ridiculous.

I'll admit, "smoking the glass" was new to me and I had to watch a vid.

But why? Is there really a discernible difference in the taste or aroma when it gets to you? Is it any good?

When I was in Bamberg I drank the obligatory Schlenkerla Rauchbier. After one half liter, all I could think of was smoked ham and I couldn't have another.

Is it more like Jack? Couldn't you just drink Jack?

Collected about 2# before I ran out of time. Retail is around $30-40/# these days. Still plenty out there. I don't ever sell them, but am tempted to take some up to my friend who is the head chef at a 4 star wild game type restaurant. It would be fun to eat there on mushroom credit lol. This is after giving away over half.
OP you would like these (black trumpets) - easy to recognise safely too. You could learn them from the pic.

I tried a smoked bourbon drink this summer - it was smokey. The whole room was looking at me when they brought it out. My wife had a bit of an asthma attack and said I was a dumbass. It was really good. Nothing like Jack. Nothing against Jack, but it isn't like that. I think it could get cloying after one or two though.

Oh, I get that.  When I am working with my knives, they get dirty.  I don't like it, but it's necessary.  I wipe them off when done and move on.

But food that far up the handle?

No, when I eat, it's clean.

Makes a considerable difference in the flavor. Oak is very woody, and a hair bitter. Maple is nice. Peach wood is subtle, and Apple is almost like a blend of oak and maple. Try it, an you'll love it.
