Most of my pictures didn't come out, but I past sunset and back-lit.
Food came out great though. Spiced chicken on grilled Naan, with pickled onions, marinated cucumbers and tomatoes, spring mix and raita

So a friend of mine recently started making knives, this showed up in the mail for me today.

D2 blade, G10 handles. He buys the raw material and grinds, forms it etc

What in the wide, wide world of sports is that bourbon bong/pipe?  Never seen one.

Saw the Sebenza 31 is now available.   I am still Sebenzaless which bothers me for some reason.

Josh at Razors Edge got to me at work this morning and two of my knives will be inbound to him tomorrow.  Machine reprofile with hand Wicked Edge sharpening.   1 to 3 week turnaround.  Thanks!

I assumed it was a type of Pythagorean cup.

Better turn around time from Josh than I would have guessed.

That's like a Busse I had for a very brief period of time. But the Busse was too thick, too heavy and stained too easily.

I like yours.

Available to back order. They're converting existing orders so you'll be in line. Knife won't be here for a while.

That's from the maker so street prices from retailers should be lower.

Since when? CRK price controls. TTBOMK, CRK pricing matches the price they set with retailers.

I love sharing.

This is a custom small kephart style knife from this guy.

Elmax blade, about 62 hrc IIRC, almost full flat grind, snakewood scales with black G10 liners, hand tooled matching custom pocket sheath. Her name is Angie.

ETA: I see there is still a pic of Angie on his "In Process" page before he finished her.

IIRC Recon 1 is a dealer and I snagged my Insingo for well below MSRP.
Link Posted: 8/12/2019 8:38:33 PM EST

Well, maybe you are special.

I just checked the large Inkosi; same price on Recon1 as from CRK.

I am not saying I am right across the board, I have only taken casual notice of pricing at retail, I could be wrong. It has pained me to buy them even on the secondary market finding smoking deals. But I believe when I have checked the pricing, it was the same across the board at retail.
