No, it’s not that quiet, but it does take the edge off and realistically, if I had to time to pop in ear projection, it would be some simple AXIL wired ear-pro/enhancement. Yeah, it fits and works, but it feels like you have an Encyclopedia stuff into your crotch. I could (conceivably) carry it OWB with a jacket for concealment and it works much better in that configuration. @W202fan90 Unless your bag is really light and flimsy material, most bags (especially the purpose built ones) have thick enough material to mask the vast majority of PCCs that fit. As long as your bag isn’t a tight, form-fitting leopard print spandex, there’s really no issues. ROCK6 How is the spectre and the other "tradtional" cans on the braced pistols for gas? My buddy is trying to talk me into a flow 9k, and it doesn't seem like a terrible idea for the braced pistol. But, I am kind of wanting a spectre. |

Speaking of FRTs, got a shipping notification for my xprt 90 frt today. Really excited for it.....

I also love the small stuff. I have a USW320, Raider 365, VZ 61, etc because of it. And yes, freedom, America, all that. Speaking of which, taking a road trip for 4th of July. Need to pick what PDW is making the trip with me. |

Got to shoot my Flux Fuse with a GA Rev 45 can (short configuration) yesterday. Good news, it ran 100% with supers and sounds pretty decent to boot. It's gassy as all get out with your face right there, but I think it's to be expected from the design and use case. With subs it failed to eject the last 2 rounds brass fully, but considering I'm setting this up for HD/Truck gun/Vacation Contingency Bag, I'm not super worried. |

Picked up and tried out the lithium on my raider today. Tried blazer 115s. Not something you want to have to shoot without glasses. 🤓 That being said, I did try some Norma 158 grain, and those were actually rather pleasant. I fired ~15 rounds with no glasses or earpro whatsoever. Still some gas, but manageable. Overall, I would say it was worth it. Still sorta wondering how a shiv might behave. Now if only we could get our hands on an x57 and it was good… |

IFG had a 20% off sale for Independence Day. So I snagged a FK Brno PSD and some 7.5 ammo. I'll probably SBR it and buy the stock too if it runs well.

anyone know anything about the new Roller-Delay version of the Extar EP9? 3.5lbs with a roller delay, in 9mm and .45 using Glock mags, and price is going to be only $100 more than the normal blowback one (so <$600). If it's at all reliable that would be a sweet gun. Recoil looks very low in the few videos of it that I could find from GunCon. If it really has MP5 level recoil as claimed, but with much less weight and AR ergos, it could be amazing. |

He did have the stock and I used it to zero the gun-it’s a work of art in how it’s made, and I say that as a 35 year tool and die maker/machinist, but it is not the most practical stock ever produced. It’s not really something you are going to put on the gun and leave it either-more like something you pull out of your pouch and pop on and deploy. Not super comfortable either. I still want one. |

It was everything I thought it would be, which was awesome. His suppressed HK SP5 N with FRT also works flawlessly. Brought back memories of my old subgun competition days. |

I haven’t been following all of the FRT escapades, but it seems like they achieved terminal velocity for ARs a couple years back and other rifles are getting the love now. |

Gents, what’s a good pic rail mounted, foldable, minimalist brace? I’ll also take a non-foldable option if the lightweight folders aren’t solid. Only similar thing I have experience with is a Midwest Industries aluminum folding stock on an SBR’d AR22, and that’s both a real stock and way more mass than I’d want on this. Not a gun I’d carry for defense, but I put my FRT’d TX22 in a 3D printed chassis and this thread seems to have a pretty solid handle on maxing out little guns

UO Arms sent out their presale for the NT7 (HK MP7 ish thing). $3,500. Going to let others beta test first Speaking of testing, my xprt90 trigger installed easy enough and passes the dry fire function checks. Will test it and get first shots/chrono data with fk brno psd next week hopefully. |

I def ain't gonna be the first in line, not while I still have hope for the X5.7... buuut maybe further down the road.
