![]() PS90+XPRT90 FRT. functioned great, easy to do single shots or forced reset with progressive trigger XPRT 90 in the PS90 ran great today. the single shots in the middle and end of the video is just me seeing if I could shoot semi auto quickly in the frt mode without engaging the frt. Progressive trigger makes that super easy. Half pull for one shot, full pull for frt. Very pleased with it. |

ISO a cheap bag to carry my G19 clone in a Recover Tactical chassis. be great if it holds a small chest rig and a few mags and medical as well. again needs to be cheap as it would only be carried a couple times a year on trips. |

My dad had been in downtown Madison for the last week for work. I think all he has for defense is a steak knife he stole from the restaurant on the first night, and will return on his last night there. He's flying to Dallas for work tomorrow or the next day. I might give him my Flux Raider to check in and take with him, and then I'll take the PDW to work for the next week. I'm very not happy about him being in retardville with only a knife for the past few days. |

Funny, as I just sold my original Sub2000 this morning and am happy with my Glock in a Recover 20/20 brace instead. This dovetail EGW mount works very well with it. Height is just right.

7.5 FK propaganda Started a propaganda thread on the 7.5 FK round and PSD pistol. Linked here because Ive now put 150 rounds through mine (7.5 fk, 10mm and 40) and I sbr’d it, so it will be a PDW option for me once stamp clears. |

Way too rich for my gun blood, but I really, really like that design and the ecosystm around it. Looking forward to hear how it does as a stocked PDW and I expect it would have exceptional accuracy with 7.5fk. ROCK6 |

I like the PS90 concept (and repuation), I just never warmed up to it for myself. I would probably change my opinion if I handled and shot one a little more, but it was a game-changer in the PDW world. A few addtional KP50 observations: Kel-Tec kind of missed the mark on their top cover. The sides should have had MLOK slots vice holes as that would at least have given some realistic attachment points for lights or lasers. The charging handle rails seem flimy to me. Maybe I'm just more used to the AR platform with a stiff charging handle but the Kel-Tec just seems wierd in that it will flex a little when charging. Break down is very simple and the barrel is (oddly) fixed. Again, this isn't a "plastic" Kel-Tec like most of their firearms. It's probably 85% stamped or milled aluminum with some hardened steel in all the right places. ROCK6 |

I got to feel (but not shoot) a Taurus with fold out brace. https://www.taurususa.com/product/pistols/taurus-gx4/taurus-gx4-strike-bravo-15rds-with-brace/ It really felt similar, but cheaper, than a 365 flux set up. The guy paid like $500 and change for it shipped to our shop from somewhere, so that and a red dot would make a damn decent glove box blaster. the charging handle can also be held forward with a thumb, which if suppressed with subs, should in theory make this a super budget Hush Puppy. |

I think the folding mechanism makes more sense if you consider putting a short suppressor on there to bring it back up roughly equal with the end of the brace. Kind of like a bring your own can version of the SUB-CQB. Plus they already have everything set up to make the foldy ones and making it not fold would mean extra design and tooling and money so why not

It sounds like the full length Obsidian 9 to me but I've not got a super discerning ear. It absolutely stomps the Obsidian in short mode though. Couple of quick comparison vids. Obsidian (short) vs IncoLite 9: Obsidian 9 (long) vs IncoLite 9: So far, I'm impressed. I'd be interested in hearing how the 9S compares to the Shiv. It's slightly longer and heavier, but not by much. Mostly just due to the bigger diameter. That’s a good looking setup. |

While not strictly a PDW question, @Rock6 and others seem to be good sources of information on things like this…what’s the go to lightweight 9mm can these days? Had an ECCOMachine Canine on my ‘to buy’ list for a bit along with a JK 105 CCX. Then the Shiv got talked about and there’s another printed can, but the reviews seem to be shit (B something or other manufacturer). If I want to go sans booster, shooting subsonic 147gr 9mm, in a Glock-esque gun, what’s the can I want? |

I would have to get a second Flux chassis to do that as I just bought a shit ton of full-size mags, but the carry profile would be a lot slimmer with that. Vry well done! The other reality is defining your ammo. I don't shoot a ton of subsonics in this format (not really the purpose). With supers, they run much more reliable and you just accept the extra "pop". These aren't really suppressed, but the smaller suppressors provide that smaller formfactor, and you still get quality performance ammo. ROCK6 |

The feel in the hand with the 12 round magazine is very comparable to how a normal 10 round P365 with flush magazine feels, I was pleasantly surprised. It will still mostly live in a sling bag and won’t replace my subcompact for EDC, but it’s much easier to IWB occasionally if I ever needed to, even at 3 oclock with duty style pants. This will probably be the one I bring most often now, but I will still keep my full sized aluminum one… with the forward optic mount I think it will make an excellent host for a Holosun DPS-TH thermal if they ever end up releasing it |

But you're still adding weight to a system that has to move a certain way to function, so if you want that gun to function reliably..... Just my .02 on it |

I have the chance to pick up a Huxworx can pretty cheap, and get to pick.... do I go 9k Ti that will go on my Sig Fuse Flux or do I grab the 36 to throw on a rifle caliber rifle? I don't think the heavier 36 will fit or cycle where I'd carry the flux |

If one fits on the RXM style trigger bars, I’m thinking a Flux Raider style PDW would be great. I’ve been trying to talk myself into and out of building a glock based PDW with a binary slide from Franklin Armory. I got the slide a year ago and I have to be honest-it’s a lot, LOT nicer than I expected it to be. The fit and finish are very much top notch-and this is coming from a 35 year Tool and Die maker than can look at a part, tell you how it was fixtured, machined, etc. Unfortunately, I have two problems: 1) the trigger feels like standard lawyerproof Glock levels of pull, and in the limited amount of range time I put on it the second round off of trigger release isn’t close enough to the first on target to really consider it any kind of value added kind of thing. But, in a chassis, my FRT’d glock is pretty effective, to the point that if I did go ahead and spend the money I would just convert to an FRT if the binary is a letdown. Problem is, I have more than one $2k handgun converted to 9mm PDW and the need really isn’t there. The second problem is that my Binary slide is G17 length. I want to put this on a JL Billet Reaper chassis, those use Ruger RXM fire control units…. I have yet to see one of those in the wild for sale-I don’t need to buy a complete gun, spend that money, and then have more parts laying around waiting to be built into something else I don’t need…. What to do, what to do…. |

Keep your hopes up high, and your head down low!
| FWIW guys, that FRT shown in the video above-he had problems getting it to mag dump-my Serpico Performance FRT will do the same thing if pull really hard but I have to force it. In the video he says he might need a stronger recoil spring, but I think it’s better to get a lighter disconnect or so you don’t have to pull very hard in the first place. These can be very reliable and even when they fail the gun isn’t down, you just let off the trigger and pull again. |

Attached File This was previously braced, but I took advantage of the current NFA injunction. Nothing super special, but folds up small and is super compact when extended. Has a MP5K size feel. Would be a great bag gun. |
