So, the ACLU has issues with LEO databases holding on to vehicle license plate locations, calling it "chilling".  

Makes me wonder how "chilling"  they think a NICS database would be.

What is the ACLU talking about?  I've been personally called paranoid by an ARFcop for suggesting that police departments could and would do this.
