Ive been noticing when my AC initially kicks on I'm getting a musty smell out of it. I recently changed the filters so I'm sure its not them. Do I need to get my ducts cleaned?

Probably has mold or mildew in it somewhere. Local mechanic or chain auto repair location like goodyear coulduld probably clean it out for 100 bucks or so.

Yea opened up the air handler. Its musty in there from condensate. Which looks like its draining out ok.

Simple green is the answer
Cut some simple green with water about 4 to 1 spray the coil down with the fan running to get the stuff in the coil.
Then run the ac like normal the condensate will wash it all off
