Quoted: I love AIM, and have gotten some really nice stuff from them, but the "LAST CHANCE!" on laminated M44s made me chuckle. AIM buys a lot of their stuff from Century. Century is INFAMOUS for everything being "Last chance" or "Don't know when we'll see these again". If you've ever been on Century's mailing list, you'll understand |

Quoted: Back in the mid-2000's, everything my Century rep emailed me was tagged "Small lot", "Going fast", "Last chance on these", etc, and in the body of an email was always some discussion of how this was the last bunch from Europe, or coming laws prevent further importation, or Something to that effect. They've toned it down some in recent years, especially since almost everything they claimed was "last chance" has come back around at least once since then, but you still occasionally see the "Never again" in their emails.Quoted: I'm on Century's mailing list. | I remember those 1000 rounds of .308 Port for $139 deals. A friend of mine and I had just put together our FALs and that ammo was prefect blasting ammo. I shot my FAL so little that the 1000 rounds lasted me for almost 2 years. After I shot it all up there was no more to be found. |

Oh what I wouldn't give to have been born 10 years earlier... Hah. I lived through it and didn't take full advantage. That's when I was first getting into firearms upon turning eighteen. I got a lot of that stuff at those prices. My only regrets are not buying more ammo and a K31. Quoted:

Honestly, I don't know, but I've passed on buying one more than once over the past few years. |
