+1 That said, I like some of things they offer on their website. Some of the authors and contributing editors have big egos, and it shows. All in all, AOPA is a good clearinghouse of info for the GA community. The flight training magazine is alright, but I thought it was better in the 90's. Remember, they are a big lobbying group, and as someone already stated, you will get a lot of junk mail from them. I think they have a special rate for new students. Take advantage and see for yourself. If you do not get the flight training mag, call them up and they will send you a free subscription. |
