Why go with a Eo thing + magnifier or Aimpoint + magnifier over something like a  Millett 1-4x24 DMS Tactical 30mm Riflescope?

Larger FOV

Ability to mount night vision behind EOTech or Aimpoint when the Magnifier is used.

Larger FOV I see,  I will never mount a NVD though.

The magnifiers are removable. On the Millet (which I also have) you still have eye relief to consider, even on the zero setting, which can slow aquisition a bit, and limit where you can mount the scope.

It's all about aquisition time.

That is something to consider if shooting from unusual positions  anyways a Larue mount would cost 225.00 + the cost of the scope a bout the same cost as a Comp M2 with a Larue mount.  I still have to get a magnifier though.
