Comedian Rich Hall made the Sniglet skit famous back in the early '80s on a little known TV show called, Not Necessarily the News. What is a Sniglet? It is a word that should appear in the Dictionary but doesn't. For example, "Lacto-mangulation" describes the mutilated remains of the small milk carton ends sold in lunch cafeterias when opened from the wrong side. Or, in an example of arfcom lingo, "w00t" (outside of markm's sarcastic implementations I would like to start an official AR15.com Sniglet list consisting of mostly arfcom terms but not limited to those exclusively. If you know of any Sniglets, please list them here. |
Nope, at least not the show he's talking about. I believe this one was on HBO, no? They also had a "Not Necessarily the Year in Review" that I remember watching one New Year's. |

Asshat, see also fucktard. Lost in a tragic boating accident. (ARFCOM catch phrase) How about a "Mag-Fuck-tion" as in a mag that causes a rifle to not operate correctly. "Springorbitus" as in when attempting to install a spring that ends up shooting into oblivion. Medical term: "Forarmhandguardatitus" the straining of muscles in hand, arm and facial while attempting to install or remove handguards. |
