Last night I got a bunch of 500 errors around 7 PM or so, and then this morning around 6:15 I was getting DNS failures.

Yesterday afternoon I had a problem w/ all the folders beside the threads turning gray and the green buttons disappeared.  I thought my membership had been revoked.  This morning I had trouble getting the site to load.

That's what happens when your website is specifically mentioned in a front page MSNBC article on gun control and open carry.

They were swapping batteries out in the staff Yugo.

The Yugo battery also, via jumper cables, powers an old Commodore 64 which acts as the Arfcom server.

Just typical Arfcom "server maintenance".
