my first build went off with one WTF issue...
my disconnector doesn't seem to travel far enough in the slot in the trigger. because of this my trigger moves a tiny bit forward as it resets (because the disconnector is bottoming out) i=Is this going to lead to me getting slapped on the finger every time I fire a round? or is this normal? |

No, what happens when you dry fire? Take it apart and start over. If I dry fire it and charge the rifle with my finger on the trigger it will reset, as it resets I can feel the trigger jump foreward a tiny bit when the disconnector bottoms out. it does reset though. if I just put the disconnector and trigger together with no spring and just move the disconnector back and forth I can see that there is just a TINY bit of travel that the disconnector is allowed to make within the trigger. |
