How bad is this? I don't feel anything when I poke it with something.

I was welding today and managed to do that. It was sizzling audibly with a white foam. Do I need to go see a profeshnul or can I just slap some neosporin and a bandaid on it?

Or should I cut out the cooked chunk and try it?

Your post is interesting due to our line of work. If you were in our field you would get why.

I used black tape to get rid of a wart on my index finger once.

Thats why i don't wear jewelry to work.

Doc's 1400mi from me, but I'll be watching it. Happened at work, supervisor patched it up on site, so he's aware.

Not bad, keep it clean because burns are more prone to infection than cuts.

That isn't bad at all.Rub some dirt on it.

Day Two:

What can best be described as a gelatinous blob came off of it in the shower, and feeling is back.

You're fine. Watch for infection, but unless you're a real nasty creature, I wouldn't worry.

If you're lucky you'll get a scare. Chicks dig scars.

Dang, that's a good one!

I had to cut my dad's wedding ring off his finger a few years ago. He go stung by a bee on the ring finger. His ring hadn't been off in 20+ years, so his finger was grown around the ring before the swelling started.

I used a Dremel.

If you are 1400 miles from a doctor keep that wound clean and dry. If that gets infected you could be in a wourkd of hurt.

Look for signs of infection..... fever...skin HOT to touch around the wound site and shinny, red in color.

Good luck

Steam is no joke, nor is safety and pipe erosion.

Barely a scar on me, I was damn lucky. Did get a helicopter ride out of it though.
