how many in/lbs to torque a Badger Ordnance AR riser onto a flat top upper? There's 4 machine screws that clamp. |

Quoted: http://www.mgtd.ca/Screw%20Torque.htm Not product specific, but maybe helpful. oh shit, that made my head hurt! USO lists 30 in/lbs for their cross bolts on their rings. The bolts have to be the same size since they both have to fit between the pic rail rungs. I may back off 5 in/lbs since the rings are steel and the riser is aluminum. 25 in/lbs sound about right? |

Not sure if this will help but.... Unless it is something critical I always torque small to medium screws based on how many fingers I think I should use on the screwdriver. A thumb and 2 fingers grasping the screwdriver from the top for scope screws. A thumb and 3 fingers for the scope mount. Never had a problem stripping a screw or one coming loose. |
