They do not have the votes for that, there are more pro-gun dems than you think (Baucus, Webb, Warner, etc). Besides, we are gonna win the Supreme Court Chicago case, and that will pretty much rule out any gun bans. |

We need to be vigilant. There was several groups of people in Europe/Eurasia who probably couldn't fathom what the governments there were about to do to them around 80 years ago.

Now I'm not saying they'll pull the plug on 2A, but they will feel empowered and may very well try their luck at another AWB as we know how unhappy they were when the 94 expired! Don't discount anything with the government currently in power, they've shown that they won't let the constitution or laws, the same laws we're forced to follow, effect them one bit! Keep your eyes wide open and your back to the wall, anything is possible in this country as of today! |

Well there is overwhelming public opposition to this health care monstrosity but that didn't stop them. And lets face it the Congress is full of democrats. I don't care whether or not a democrat claims they are pro-2nd that doesn't mean jack and what has gone on this year should be obvious to anyone. |

Let me clue some of you people in on something: it's not the "radical libs" who are the problem here: there's not as many of them as you think (though they are loud and politically active). It's the "middle of the road" fuckers who don't know if they're conservative or liberal and who vote for candidates based upon physical appearance, etc. In other words the so-called "independents."
Political campaigns aren't designed to turn liberal moonbats into conservatives or vice-versa. It's all about Joe and Suzy Shithead out there who are oblivious to what's happening around them because they don't perceive that it affects them DIRECTLY. They have their middle class life in the - for now - all white suburbs and they don't give a fuck. They'll vote for whoever the television tells them to vote for. My current (male) supervisor is like that. So was my previous (female) one. Truly oblivious fucking idiots. But idiots who vote. The SCOTUS could quite easily find many restrictions constitutional such as no CCW, limiting magazine capacity, prohibiting open carry, AWB, etc, etc.
