What killed me was the editor called me questioning what the AWB actually bans. At first, I was thrilled they FINALLY started checking someones facts. ![]() He began reading some material he had to me, to validate my info. So I asked him "What are you reading from?" You guessed it - Brady Campaign literature and press releases NOT the actual law, but from Brady Groups blog. I laughed out loud - I told him "They are liars, you know that right??" (as proven in my column) |

Good job G-man. You should have also listed your occupation in addition to your CCW certification. When sheeple see that you are a professional and not just "one of those Neanderthal gun owners" it makes them think. Of course, in the next to last paragraph you pretty much gave it away with all of that statistician lingo. |

Very Nice! Do you have the link to the Original Article that promted your piece? I'd like to take a read at it. Edit: Never mind, I found it: "Should gun ban be extended" |

Great job, G-Man! I liked reading the 30 responses as much as reading yours. Here's one example: ...."I dont have an interest in alot of things, but you dont see me just blindly agreeing to ban anything because other people say to. I'd say ban alcohol since I'm not a drinker, I don't care about it and statistics say it leads to more driving related fatalities per year than firearm related deaths. Now there's a double standard for the history books Mr. Chappaquiddick. But seriously, just because I dont like alcohol doesnt mean I should revoke the rights of others to enjoy it. And they shouldn't certainly be punished for the actions of the few that do abuse it. Now why cant that logic be applied to firearms?...." Thanks, Merlin |
