| her whole familyis vets! her dad and his twin brother both. Dad Us Army, twin USMC. All 3 served during Vietnam. Her dad sent to Korea for his hitch. her grandfather was a WWII vet. B-17 gunner. Shot down, captured, escaped and returned to fly 35 mission. Won the Silver Star and Distinguished Flying Cross. Great family. |
Yeah man, I hear ya. He was dyed in the wool Navy. He was pretty well connected among the big whigs in DC for a long time. Attended many USN functions, met many US Presidents, Zumwalt he had dinner with on ocasion, so much I cant remember right now but his photo albumw is a who's who in the USN. And he got to go out to Coronada a few years ago and ride on one of those specops boats all rigged out with 50's and such..Don't know how he pulled that one off but he looked like it was the best ride of his life! |
