Final product will be what alcohol by volume? or what proof?
This I haven't figured the answer out yet.

Also with the pots I have I cannot blend the alcohol in the mix at the same time, so what amount should I add to each gallon to be close to equal in each + what goes in the .25gal left over?
This one I have figured out but I know I wasn't exact, and would like to be precise.


1/2 gallon apple juice
1 1/2 gallonfresh apple cider
1 quart  Everclear® alcohol 190proof
2 cups sugar
3 - 4 cinnamon sticks

Approximately 10.5% alcohol by volume or 21 proof.

I divided 1 by 9.5 to get my answer.

ETA: So you have two 1 gallon pots and a quarter gallon pot?

190 proof (946 mL) = X proof (8600 mL)

X = 20.9.

The final volume is estimated because of the sugar.

Redo the math for your two 1 gal and 0.25 aliquots.  190 proof (X mL) = 21 proof (3785 mL).  X = 418 mL used twice.  Remaining volume goes into the 0.25 aliquot.

You know OP, if you mix all that stuff together and just leave it out for a couple of weeks, it will ferment and have its own alcohol in it!

Yes or no 3 scenarios;

#1 No fermentation
#2 good fermentation and more booze
#3 bad experience in vinegar production

Because I have nothing better to do.  
The final product will be roughly 21 proof or 10.5% abv.

For a gallon you want roughly 66 percent to be cider, 22 percent juice, and 11 percent alcohol.  Then dump in roughly 88 precent of a cup of sugar and hope it doesn't overflow.  Then throw in 1.7 cinnamon sticks in.

If you round down it makes it easier, It's  5 and 1/4th pints of cider.

1 and 3/4th pints of juice.

Just under 1 pint of alcohol, but if you round up to one you get a gallon.    

I would just save the .25 gal leftovers for another day or mix what is left.  


These aren't exact numbers because if you mixed it all together you would make more than 2.25 gallons.  Probably not much more though,

that's odd I was thinking in my simple math that I was close to 11.11111...%ABV

Not sure the exact size of the pot I have one stock pot, that was close to the top with 2gal in it before sugar.

I need to get this stuff up to at least 13%ABV I think.  I want it as strong as wine at least.  How much more everclear do I need to get it there?

You can mix up all the ingredients in one batch and then simmer it on the stove in your pots though.

Then you could put the bucket under your desk, you might get famous.

Once again here is roughly how you make a gallon.  So double it to get 2 gallons.  
You could roughly add 1.1 pints of alcohol per gallon instead of a pint or less to get closer to 13 percent ABV.

That would work but then if you simmer the alcohol you end up cooking it off and ABV/proof is off more
