I recently replaced my aging computer and there is information still on the old one that I would like to have on the new one, my problem is the cd writer on the old one doesn't work and the new one doesn't have a 3.5 floppy drive.
How can I get the info from one to the other? Will a USB cable between the two facilitate a transfer?

Yes you could do that.. or network them if they both have network cards in them... OR... you can just take the hard drive out the old pc, put it into the new pc, copy the data and then remove the drive.
