The cleptocracy in this country has made a monopoly in banking (Too big to fail), agriculture (Monsanto), prison industrial complex (drug war), education (college subsidies, DoE). You name it they have a monopoly. Some of the last things they dont have a monopoly on is guns and peasants that are armed isn't good for cleptocrats. Adam makes very good points and advocates volunteerism. If a company will offer such insurance to gun owners we can volunteer to buy a policy due to civil and criminal liabilities that  we may have to deal with if involved in a shooting. But it should be voluntary and we choose weather to do so or not. Democrats always talk about freedom of choice so long as you choose what they offer.
