I have noticed this the past few months - is there a way to turn it off?  It does not matter what browser I am using or what site I am on.  I am pretty sure it is nothing I have downloaded.
Not sure if it is something I can alter with my browser settings or is this something that is turned on at different websites?

Any way I can turn it off?

Does anyone know what I am talking about?

Ah, so this is implemented on different sites, and being a team member here lets me not have to deal with that annoyance.  Is this correct, or are you jerking my chain?

He's thinking of the ads in the OP on the right side of the page. I have no issues with text-imbedded ads, but my bro's computer does, and it's annoying because you can never tell if it's a link by the poster, or a text-imbed.

That being said, I can't help you...

I'm pretty sure Arfcom doesn't do the text ads. Unless they've started them up recently.

Becoming a team member eliminates the 3rd party banner ads on the right side of the post. But OP has a virus or plugin downloaded that is adding the text ads. A team account won't solve that.

He's not jerking your chain.
Actually, we're both jerking your chain. ;-)
