I just wanted to say thank you guys for keeping the lights on. I do appreciate what you guys have done over this time. Wonder if we can make sure these sorts of situations something that can be prevented in the future through some sort of legislation, but I have my doubts.

Next time I meet one of you guys at a diner or a bar, you pay for nothing.

As a retired controller, thank you for your support. It is appreciated.

I dealt with several shutdowns during my time. The last one I had to work thru was the one in Jan. 2019.

I'll second what switchtanks said.

I filed IFR to PDK last Thursday and I couldn't tell a bit of difference in service.

My hats off to all the pro controllers, but wouldn't blame y'all one bit if you come down with "air sickness".

It's getting real old real fast. Morale was already not great and this is just killing the younger controllers.

I have a flight this afternoon that's effected by staffing issues, but I wouldn’t blame every one of you for not showing up. If I don't get paid, I'm certainly not working for free and y'all shouldn't have to either. Hope things open up soon though.
