| None better . Roll Tide . |
| I'm assuming your talking about NCAA Division 1 college football. In that case, you're wrong, because there is no Championship. Winning a popularity contest among sportswriters doesn't a champion make. Until there is an actual playoff, Div 1 college football might as well be figure skating. |

I agree Bama is the most likely pick given their depth of talent and schedule this year.
However, I won't agree that it is assured, they have to meet with some very decent teams this year that given the right Saturday could result in an upset. I pray that Saturday is 28 September.

Quoted: The more they say this, the less likely it will be. Jinx! Quoted: The more they say this, the less likely it will be. Jinx! Unfortunately, I agree. I HATE years where 'Bama is "expected" to win it all, we usually manage to find a way not to. Quoted: ... All these pesky spread teams for Nick to face. And he keeps lobbying to "slow down the game...it's for the children!" |

I can't wait . Caught Coach Saban on ESPN and he looks focused , |

How many of those 4 will be from the SEC? I'll wager 2 or more. |

Of course that is what I'm posting about . Did you see last seasons game whenever Bama played N.D. That running back Lacy looked like a salmon going upstream . Beautiful really , kinda like a power ballet . |

Any team. Any day. It happens. Yep. I remember in '09 a less than mediocre Tennessee almost beat Alabama at Alabama. It took 2 blocked field goals, and missed field goal for them to escape. And Bama was great that year. 14-0 National Champions, and almost got beat by a bad UT team. There are 2-3 games like that, league wide, every year. You never know. |

The one I'll always remember was Southern Miss beating 'Bama in Tuscaloosa for Coach Bryant's very last home game, ending a 57-game winning streak in the process IIRC. My Dad was the Referee for that game, and I was on the sideline... too young at the time to fully understand the college football history taking place/era being ushered out that day right in front of me. (And also unaware that one of my closest future friends was out there playing for the Golden Eagles). |
