Doubt. They always say that Florida is going to get a direct hit and it almost never happens. I've been here, space coast, for every hurricane since 1987 and not once have they correctly predicted the path

There's a local one with a Facebook group as a side hobby. He does stuff for corporate contracts or something I can't remember. But the dude is accurate as fuck. Way more accurate than the news people. He's like it's gonna rain tomorrow at 3pm till 5pm. And it does. News be like "change of rain maybe 50/50 I don't know"

They're really full of shit and wrong a billion percent of the time in future forecasts. And they need a way to keep people on their site I guess with this "story" from Accuweather:

Space Coast is the safest place in Florida. It’s never had a direct hit from a Cat 3 or higher in recorded history. It’s had glancing blows and direct hits from lesser storms but not bad ass killer storms. It’s one reason I plan to move there eventually.
