Some of you here have been involved with church groups in the tornado areas of Moore, El Reno, and Shawnee OK.
You know what has happened and you have done a great deal for other Americans. This is my thank you! I am proud of all of you for what you have sacrificed and have done for others. Even those not deserving the help who always have their hands out. I saw this the other day in Shawnee. 
I know that the relief and aid has come far more from church groups and individuals than from government. There is some crap and bogus needs being pulled but that happens in all situations like this disaster. But overall, the work and help that has been given makes me proud of the people of my country and my state. Lest we forget, these are my people, your people, OUR PEOPLE. Over all, Americans are the greatest people in the world, despite the government and those who speak ill of other Americans. |
