When I was a kid over 40 years ago, a friend had this poster hanging on his wall. I wasn't a rebel as a kid. But this means more to me every day in the clown world that we find ourselves in. I think it's better and more realistic than my Gadsden and FAFO flags.

Fuzzy old school black light posters were best black light posters. I actually had that one and some others from the 70s that were my uncles.
My room was pretty groovy when I was 10. |

I remember that! And a pelican that swallowed a frog, but the frog's arms are reaching out and choking the pelican.

Middle finger aside, it looks like it didn't end well for Mr. Mouse.

As a young teen in that era, the only black light poster I had was the stupid Hitler quote about "law and order." I thought I was being edgy.
I was just a typical teen dumb ass. Embarrassing today. |

It's more relevant now than at any time in my lifetime (56 years). Shit is unhinged. The fox is in the henhouse and has been for some time. Will the hens be able to chase him out? It's very doubtful. So before the end comes, you may have to choose whether to go out on your knees or your feet. I hope that I will possess the character and fortitude to fly that middle finger until the end. I won't truly know until that time comes. |

I had one that was an Indian sitting on a rock smoking a joint.
The caption was “If Custer only knew” |

The mouse is merely a loose cannon that needs to be removed out of the way.
I saw a picture of this during machine gun training. Lol |

Last great act of defiance I drew this picture in Art class in high school. The teacher thought it was cool but wouldn't let me put it in the hallway for everyone to see! |

I attended a party long ago that had black lights running. A girl at the party, evidently high on something, saw me and freaked out, she started screaming "Aiiieeee! HIS EYES!!! LOOK AT HIS EYES!!! Aiiieeee!!!" I looked in a mirror and saw that my eyes were glowing yellow in the black light, plus eerie looking yellow streaks were running down my face from the corners of my eyes. I'd used Murine brand eye drops before attending the party, turned out the stuff fluoresced under UV light. I was indeed a scary looking mofo.

If black light is your thing, use the restroom at the 1984 Arcade in Springfield, Missouri. It'll melt your damn mind.

Quoted: A second later, the mouse was dead. So much for defiance. View Quote There is greater meaning behind it than what is depicted. Even if you believe you are doomed to die, you should never simply accept your own demise. To defy that which you believe you cannot defeat, that is strength in of itself. And such defiance is a key aspect of what it means to be human. It gives us the strength to overcome impossible odds, because so long as you adamantly refuse to give up, there is always a chance. |
