A little for your afternoon.
Some animals have "senses" and can detect things that we (humans) can not (earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunami's, and such). I have heard that animals will not drink out of poison wells. If the above is true, would a bear, mountain lion, wolf, [insert predator here] be able to sense the toxins in a person that is strung out on hard drugs? And if so would they attack and kill? For some reason this popped into my head, so I thought that I would get the hives opinion. |

I've never heard that one about animals not drinking out of poisoned wells, and I'm not so sure I believe it either.
I would imagine that yes, if the smell of the poison chemical was strong enough for them to discern it, they would shy away from it. Otherwise, not so much. |

Quoted: Quoted: I have heard that animals will not drink out of poison wells. . Bullshit. Animals eat and drink toxic shit all the time. Many dead cows and goats from eating nightshade, dead dogs from drinking antifreeze, etc... Yep. I was going to bring up the antifreeze thing. Rat poison is proof that rats eat poison. |
