Is it just me, or does this seem like the perfect way to create a large DNA-based biometric database on the population, and have us pay for it at the same time? |

Well now I know how to foil their plans for creating an all-encompassing, DNA-driven, biometric database... I just won't pay them $99 and send them my DNA.

Ancestry.com started out as a group of Mormon researchers, doing their usual thing of tracing back family lines so that they can baptize dead relatives into a church that they probably never even heard of while they were alive, and make sure that none of their ancestors were afflicted with the Mark of Cain. |
