Same place anything other than his “I played Little League baseball” TV commercial is.

He managed to ride the Trump endorsement to a primary win without campaigning or even really having a platform, and hasn’t realized that he’s going to get killed if he tries the same thing here and doesn’t get off his ass.

He has a terrible opponent, but that doesn’t do him any good if he won’t campaign to point that fact out and the only thing anyone knows about him is that his little league baseball team was really good.

See here in NY we know who are commie overlords are.

For you guys in "free" states its just a matter of time stopping the inevitable.

Fight the good fight hope you can hold them off. It's just a matter of time when there are no free states and we going to be forced to fight this as one (if we can ever agree on anything)

My concern as well. Georgia was democratic for over 140 years. I think the state will swing back to the democrats although I hope I am wrong. The republicans have not been slack. The republicans gave us toll roads and the largest tax increase in state history. The republicans act like democrats.

Democrats became Republicans and Socialists became Democrats.

We have shifted left politically the moment state funded welfare entered the public space. Much like Europe, our right wing parties are simply right of the left. The left is far left. The right is just maybe right of center, but it has bee  shifting left of center and is simply more Conservative than the Socialists.

867,874 for DeSantis and 485,215 for Gillum. Mind you, for Gillum it was a five way race and DeSantis only faced one challenger. Total votes for the Democrats were 1,509,960. For the Republicans it was 1,618,473. A difference of 108,513 votes. Which doesn't mean much since in 2016, only 24% of the voters turned out to vote in the Primary but 75% of voters turned out for the General. We never have a high percentage for Primaries. Hell, 2014 it was 18% and 51%.

Gov. Rick Scott opened the door for Boricua voters. Because of that, PR politcs is now FL politics. Thus, the FL GOP must tread lightly to not offend the new voter base. Hence the schism between DeSantis and Trump. The entire FL GOP is against Trump on PR issues.

Gillum was a dumb pick by the Dems.

What kind of dirty Tally swamp dog happens to meet up with FBI undercover agents on not one, but two, "vacations"?

https://www.watchdog.org/florida/fbi-corruption-probe-into-tallahassee-cra-ensnares-gillum-campaign-in/article_b67b3bba-b1d7-11e8-b3e1-cf1d0c79d6a9.html

Gillum, Corey and the undercover agent met in New York in April 2016 during a trip Gillum took on behalf of People for the American Way Foundation.

In an email inviting Gillum to meet with him and the agent in New York, Corey noted that the agent had purchased hotel rooms, Mets tickets and a private charter boat trip to the Statue of Liberty. The two other undercover FBI agents joined Gillum, Corey and Gillum’s brother, Marcus, for the boat ride.

Gillum’s campaign told the New York Times that the last night in New York, his hotel room was paid for by his brother, who also purchased tickets to see the musical “Hamilton.” Corey and one of the agents joined Gillum and his brother to see the musical.

In addition, one of the agents met with Corey, Gillum and Gillum’s wife while all were on vacation in Costa Rica in May 2016. Gillum maintains city business not was discussed and he paid in cash for the trip.

Lastly what we have going against us, and everyone knows this. Transplants.
Not all are as pro gun or even remotely pro gun.
Who do you think shills in town halls, to elected representatives down here?
Why the HOAs of course.

Who do HOAs appeal to? NIMBY elitists, boomer retirees, busy body transplants.
Oh? I don't have to even mow my yard? I'm safe from the scary normal people with the property being fenced/gated?
Go into some of these HOAs if you want a laugh. Tell me you could build your house feet away from your neighbors house, close enough where you can open windows and shake hands with your neighbor. You can't do that anywhere else. That's against zoning and building codes. Fire hazard being that close. HOA? Not a problem. You pay the crown we will allow it, give an exemption for it.

Drive around in them, count the plates that are out of state. Chat with the people. They're from Jersey, NY, CT, MA, DE, Canada, Illinois, Vermont, PA, some even California.

Then look around at who else shills to representatives and in town halls, other than HOAs/Developers... in my AO if there is vacant land, there will be another pharmacy, another walmart, another gas station, retail outlet, or strip mall going in.
Why does this matter?
HOAs and other businesses here, they depend on snowbirds and transplants. Who the majority of those people are and where they are from, anti gun. HOAs developers and retailers want that money. They'll protect their interest by attacking ours if it means they can put up another gated community, another plaza, another fast food joint, another gas station, another Walmart to get more money. Same with tourism industry.

Think Disney would support our cause? Not with feeble lemmings saying Boo Florida it's the gun shine state. We don't have shall issue and have to worry about mentally deranged mass murdering psychopaths carrying concealed. I am not booking my family vacation to Florida until they enact stricter gun control!
Add in the gated communities, especially the 55+ ones where grandma and grandpa go to retire on a pension for peanuts that are compelled by the feelz and Muh Childrunz...  Think real Estate agencies and brokers will allow potential transplants to seek out a different state with stricter gun control?

Look at that hogglet calling for spring break to be avoided happening in Florida until more stricter gun laws are passed. Get the college aged lemming sympathizers to sit out going to Panama City, Miami, Orlando, Key West. You'll get businesses folding like cheap suits pushing to restrict rights to protect their income.

Very similar to how cityiots fucked my former AO up building their weekend and summer homes and getting on the town board and banning hunting friday-sunday, etc etc. Same shit, different state. I can write a book in full detail, everything those scumbags did that fucked that county up and exactly how they did it too.

Don't take this thread lightly nor discount Miami_JBT as being hyperbolic or hysterical and become complacent thinking we have this one in the bag.

This is a real threat not to be taken lightly.

I have seen the same thing happen in my former AO at a smaller scale. From a rural small town spread into the entire county. They're playing for keeps. I have seen it first hand in my former AO. I know their tactics. I know their play book. I paid very close attention. I still fought but I still lost because too many were complacent.

Want to beat them? Start going to town hall meetings. Find out when your town hall goes into session, get there.
Skip NRA dinners/friends of NRA events. That's an echo chamber of like minded individuals that will just parrot the same things over and over again.
We need to get out of the echo chamber and get into our local town halls and speak out and express these concerns to fence sitters. Just taxes alone will wreck this state. We still have time to make a difference!

Not really. Trump won by two percent and Scott won both races by one percent. Here is Trump's election map.

Here is Scott's last election map.

Notice a pattern yet? The Democrats control the major urban areas. Same layout for the 2012 Presidential vote.

Trump won because some counties like Monroe (FL Keys) went Republican. But that was pretty much a fluke. Also Indian River and Jefferson County went for him. Traditionally, they're hardcore Democrat.

Gillum Campaigned in Urban areas only while Graham focused Statewide.

Like I said, tree don't vote. Putnam won rural areas mostly while DeSantis won urban areas.

Problem is, in Statewide elections, not primaries. Those areas are Democrat heavy.

The make up of the Legislature should flesh that out for you. Sure  the GOP has a majority at the moment, but with urban population growth and it being in heavy Democrat areas. As census happen, redistricting will more and more favor the Left.

LOL....

I had a supervisor from NYC. Person worked a career with NYPD and retired, then the NYSP and vested and retired. Then moved down to Coral Gables because it was cheaper thsn NYC. Now works for the State here because of Health Insurance all while drawing on two NY pension. Is extremely anti gun and very much a leftist.

Plently more where that came from. Palm Beach County is a borough of NYC. Miami Dade County is part of Latin America, not the US. Broward is just Democrat Central.
