[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Annoying PS3 problem

Maybe someone here can help.

I have a PS3 Bluetooth mic, and standard controllers. The mic will sync up just fine, and the controllers are fully charged. What happens is while playing MW2, the screen prompt "Please Reconnect Your Controller" pops up (even though the connection LED on the controller is still lit.) Then the LED goes out, I hit the PS3 button, and the controller reconnects.

Every time I reconnect the controller, the bluetooth drops it's sync, and I cannot get it to reconnect without resetting the PS3.

Any ideas?

This happens with my original controllers, and the brand new controller I bought last night.

Mine does that when i try to play while charging the controller, never does it with the controllers unplugged.....

No batteries involved. The Bluetooth is brand new (dog ate my last one, it's literally brand new) and so is the controller (I bought it last night thinking the old ones weren't charging any more)

I was going to say it was a controller problem, but you said you tried two of them. I can't help you. I have never had this problem before.
