A friend of mine was an Air Marshal for a few years. You may have a very rough ride ahead of you. If you haven't been a road warrior on airplanes, this will be very harsh.

He was extremely disappointed with the job.

Heard the same thing. One of our officers left the dept. for the Air Marshals. Did it for like a year or so, put away a good amount of money and got out because he hated it so much. He just couldnt stand it any more. He then came back to our PD. He didnt talk about the job at all; must not have had any stories to tell.
