I weight 202 right now and I thing 175 if optimum. I have been using myfitnesspal.com calorie tracker. I am not using it to control how much I am eating but more to see what nutrients i am consuming.
My question is you can enter the % of your total diet that comes from Carb, Fat and Protien. It defaults to 60% carbs. What should I put in those fields to accurately use a more correct %? Also, how the heck do i calculate what my Lean Body Mass is? Everyone talks about it, but how do I calculate what it is or should be? |

Everyone talks about it, but how do I calculate what it is or should be? Not sure how to change that in that program, but I've heard you can from others. There's no hard and fast rule about percentages, perhaps start with 30f 30c 40p or something similar...or enter in what you're eating now, and if you feel good use those percentages. I know for me IIRC I'm around 20%c 25%p and 55%f give or take...what works for me may not work for you though....and those percentages are out of 3,200+ calories, so it's still a fair amount of carbs. You could get measured for body fat % or you could estimate from pics online then do the math from there.
