Thanks to Motown_steve for his inspiring earlier post, here is an illegal immigrant solution from an ARFCOM keyboard kommando who is drinking while posting. What to do with our troops who will soon be leaving the Middle East??? How about a “two fer”!  “The sketch on a napkin”: The USA announces to Mexico that the next time we take census; we will establish the percentage of illegal immigrants in the USA and compare that to Mexico’s estimated total population. Whatever percentage that is, we will then seize that percentage of Mexico’s land. We will start at the current borders and work south. The newly acquired land will be considered a USA territory (no votes) and illegals will be encouraged to re-patriate there. The USA will take all property in these areas owned by the Mexican government except parks, etc. and sell the property at market prices. The indigenous population doesn’t fight because they are going to be much better off afterwards. Monterrey gets a pro baseball expansion team, too. Feel free to discuss, trash or embellish… (and have a homebrew!)  |
