Buy or make on of these. I've shot in AZ when it was well over 100, without the mirage strap it looked like an old movie with a mirage in the distance.

it's called mirage.

(yes, just like the desert)

barrel wraps (suppressor wraps can be purchased for smaller diameters from eliteiron.com)
