Hello Ladies,
I am considering a crossbow. Does anyone shoot or own one and care to share info?

Quite a while ago I posted this and not a single answer, so I figure nobody does. Therefore, I must be the 1st

I'd like to have one but they are ridiculously expensive for what they are and they don't hold their value. I just can't make myself do it. If I had a large "fun fund" I might do it but that's not my situation.

If I were going to hunt with one I would probably try and find a higher end used model that's already depreciated in value.

I hunt with one and I prefer it over gun hunting. I love the challenge of bow hunting but I had open elbow surgery and not able to comfortably draw a compound. It is what I started out hunting with and will continue with.

I keep wanting to buy one but something always seems to come up that needs my fun-budget funds more than a crossbow.

My wife had a Ravin and like it but now uses an Excalibur Assassin 420 (its less complex )
