I saw that it was gone too. I asked a staffer, was told that CoC violations got it trashed. Last I'd seen it wasn't too far gone. If they don't restore it, you could always just start a new thread. What's the word from your son now that you're in town and talking to him face to face? |

If it is simple cut/paste, it could obviously be out of context, and the police should know it. Tell the officers it is THEIR job to investigate, and THEY should be the one chatting with the mods. I'm tired of innocent people having to prove they are innocent. |

| I didn't qual as a pilot, just talked some jocks into stick time (TF 160 were our jump pilots at the green beenie club) And I did forget tomention the abbreviated sere training and working at the SERE course as an instructor. Been an extremely long several days and am dead tired. |
Amen to that. Sorry that it happened though, it was a low move for whoever did it. I would like to read the update on the OP's story. Despite my difference of opinion, I still wish him luck in the ongoing situation. *edited to add. On second thought, as much as I want to hear the updates, I have to remind the OP that it's probably in his (and his step son's) best interest to leave it off the internet for now. |

Still not in town. Using a wireless modem (Verizon) He is out on bail. I won't get into any more until all is done. The DU troll done f'd it up for all. I have more complete info and still think the locals over reacted on the previous issues, and were completly wrong on Friday. Now I have my own shit to deal with.That is based on what the Chief told me over the phone. |
Did it occur to you that if the thread is trashed, they couldn't read it without a supoena? Or even know that it REALLY existed. AND the best thing for you right now is to stop posting here for a while and get a lawyer? I'm not really trying to do anything but help you here. This should be a popup every time you hit the submit button. I knew something bad was likely to happen when I saw the OP's post on his military skills, given the situation with the SS and the local LEO and the tone of the post. It came across to me as a slightly veiled threat. I'm sure the OP didn't mean it like that but it in the context of the situation it could easily be read that way. |

[runs away] Look there have been enough times when people posted stuff here only to have "That's my sister you prick!" or "I'm high speed joe the super trainer that your'e talking about and you're full of shit" posted that you should all be aware that anything you post here could very well get back to anyone you don't want to know about it. Don't post or e-mail any info that you would not be comfortable having printed in your local newspaper. You can say "fucking rats" or whatever but that does not change the bottom line. edit I would contact whoever you had trash the thread rather than another one of us getting involved. |
